Many have tried and done many things. One of which is massage and hot baths, as described by one psoriasis sufferer...
I have had psoriasis for about 4 years. I am a full time student, which does not help my stress level; thus my skin flares often. Although Enbrel has helped greatly, I do not enjoy injecting myself every week. I have found that getting a massage greatly improved my skin's condition. My therapist expresses that as she massages me, I release an unusually large amount of toxins (especially in the areas where there is psoriasis).
After-wards my stress is almost gone and I feel revived. It is also very soothing to have someone rub the areas that I hide from most people. Hot baths are also very soothing for my psoriasis. Dead Sea salt water baths help my psoriasis severity. It is very relaxing and helps my skin.
