Summary:
- There has been an 30% increase in new Hypertension cases within the last 10 years. Compare this to the average Malaysia Birth rate of 2% annually
- Hardly 28% of Hypertension patients are successful in controlling their illness through the prescribed medicines. More than 70% cases, medicines was not effective. So, why take chemical based medicines (with its side effects and toxins), when the probability of cure is very slim!

Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and renal diseases. The third National Health and Morbidity Survey of 2006 showed that the prevalence of hypertension among adults 30 years old and above was 43%, a relativeincrease of 30% from that of 10 years earlier.
The Third National Health and Morbidity Surveyrevealed that among patients with hypertension who were on drug treatment, only 26% of them achieved the target blood pressure. This finding is consistent with a separate survey conducted by theInstitute of Health Management of the Ministry of Health on the outpatient management of hypertension in government clinics. Only 28.5% of patients treated for hypertension in government clinics achieved the target blood pressure.
